My Breastfeeding Journey
My Breastfeeding Journey is a mini-series dedicated to highlighting the breastfeeding journeys of black mothers. The series aims to educate mothers about the benefits of breastfeeding and encourage more black mothers to consider it over formula-feeding. There’s a drastic racial disparity when it comes down to breastfeeding; black mothers are less likely to breastfeed than white mothers. Thus, we hope that this series will provide visibility to the importance of breastfeeding and promote equal representation in the breastfeeding movement.
